Our bespoke activity days include many experiences such as firelighting, foraging, shelter building, care farming and bushcraft. We work with a wide range of client groups to improve team working, self-esteem, confidence and life-skills.

Our experienced team members tailor each session to the needs of the individual client group using the wide range of resources available on our private 50 acre site on Mersea Island.

We are particularly passionate about increasing access to the outdoors for disadvantaged or disabled young people and adults.

“Bringing us closer to nature.”

What people say about us…

What a fantastic way to celebrate my 60th with my children and grandchildren on Mersea Island with the wonderful John Wills, Simon and Tim at Greenpath Ventures It might have been cold but that didn’t stop us putting up hammocks, lighting fires, watching the sheep and lambs and meeting Ginger and Pickles the two Saddleback pigs. This was so much better than putting the kids in some boring restaurant telling them to sit still and eat with their mouths closed!!” Client birthday party

“Volunteering at Greenpath was the stepping stone to getting myself back to work and getting back my confidence.” GV volunteer

“It’s a time and space when I forget about my mental health diagnosis and feel safe and supported to explore new skills. The praise when you get the task right (i.e hammock construction), all the time being aware that this is also a safe place to not get it right. The staff are patient, kind and humorous – it’s great to chat, eat and laugh together!” Client Review

“Your expertise and knowledge, together with your previous experience working in mental health, ensured that you engaged and sustained the interest of the group. You pitched it just right to keep the clients motivated, no mean feat considering the varying abilities in the group.”  Senior Occupational Therapist, North Essex Partnership Foundation NHS
